July 2024 · 1 minute read

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square announced it will resume daily performances later this month.

As with just about every venue around the world, the pandemic led to the temporary closing of Temple Square and all live events beginning in March 2020.

Daily organ recitals, weekly Choir, Bell ensemble rehearsals, and Music & the Spoken Word broadcasts will all return within the next three months.

The Tabernacle Choir organization is thrilled to announce the schedule for their return to Temple Square of daily organ recitals, weekly Choir and Bell ensemble rehearsals and Music & the Spoken Word broadcasts.

The daily organ recitals will be the first to return on Monday, July 19 in the Tabernacle. Performances will run Monday through Saturday at noon and on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Tabernacle Choir will begin rehearsals at the end of August, but those will be closed to the public until the 2nd week of October.

That’s when visitors will get their first chance to see a live performance from the choir in nearly 18 months.
